can some one show me how the mode, median and the mean can be calculated for this datea please??

Also how do you calculate the variance and standard deviation for this data as well just for my satisfaction??

the iset of 7 numbers { 39.7 39.8 39.9 40 40.1 40.2 40.3 } add the numbers in the set = 280 divide 280 by 7 = 40. The mean is 40

Median means the middle or center of a set of numbers { 39.7 39.8 39.9 40 40.1 40.2 40.3 } the median is 40

There is no mode in the above set of numbers

The set of 7 numbers { 1 6 15 1714 5 2 }. add the numbers in the set equals 60 divide 60 by 7 = 8.571428571 is the mean

The median is 17

No mode in the above set of numbers

Mode- a number that appears the most repeated (for example 1 2 3 2 4 2 5, the mode is 2)
Median- the number that is the middle of the data set in a hierarchy for example, 1 2 3 4 5, the median is 3)

for the standard deviation and the variance, i have to get back at that, too many things to explain at once

mode is 40 as it has the maximum frequency

standard variation= square root [sigma f * x ^2/N-(mean)^2]
=sqrt [ 96001/60-(40)^2]
=sqrt [ 1600.0166 - 1600]
= sqrt [0.0166]
= 0.12884

and variance = (standard variation)^2 = (0.12884)^2 = 0.0166
