What does the term "Losing Everything" mean to you?

You never lose everything, no matter how bad things get you can always find some reason to be happy, even if it's just that the sun is shining. You are still alive and you have your whole life ahead of you to enjoy. If you are feeling that things couldn't be worse and you are at the bottom- the only way to go is up.
I have been at the bottom; but I know that everything will be ok :-)

Lost my first wife to divorce and almost lost my house at the time...was very very broke for about a year or two...I was heart broken and broke..haha, so that was tough...I am remarried now with an 8 yr old boy and me and the wife are really struggling...if we end up divorcing I will be devestated and heart broken even more...I am hoping that doesn't happen....

As in everything they mean your most valuable possesions... Something sentimental. I know when my house burnt down everything I owned was either ruined or gone

I have lots of "stuff", but it is all the Loved Ones that I have lost that bring true sadness.

Yes I have. It means to me,when your house burns down, no clothes, but the ones on your back etc....

yes, materail things at one point, meant everything to me, until I lost my other half of my heart, and all my "good china" and collection of things just so pretty they where, would have given it all up in a sec, just to see his smile again.

No desire to live. It happened one morning years ago and I will remember that morning forever. It feels like the bottom dropped out of your life.
