Truth about eBay - Bull??

Question

U always hear that 300,000 people make a living on eBay..
but its not impressive when you consider that over 19 Million try too ...

Its like saying: 300 people make commissions money working for my business.., my other 1,900 employees never make a dime.
Are you impressed with this operation ?

I am impressed with the fact EBAY makes money
from everything and not even selling or shipping any products
they make money from
placing ads
upgrading ads
stores
final value fees
store upgrades
and lets not forget PAYPAL
which is most used by all the sellers on ebay

now lets get to the good part
the ebay underground where the real bread n butter is

people selling things you would never dream of selling
and ebay allows it
items such as
empty boxes
empty envelopes
mystery items
cheese sandwich
and other assorted items

I did a search once
and it was over 2000 of such items

the beauty of these auctions allows you to sell item
you don't even have and call it a mystery

why would ebay allow this
when people couldn't even sell ps3 before they came out

hmm
ebay needs that money from the listing fees
to keep streaming in
imagine all the listings that go unsold and keep getting
relisted
on all the various ebay sites worldwide
who wins? ebay

not everyone can win or make a living on ebay
because most everyone is trying to under price the next
person so you see items listed at wholesale price or
below and they bump up the shipping
which is against ebay rules - yet people do it all day


to make the most profit on ebay
you have to be digital
by selling ebooks or websites

then you don't have to ship items
and your product supply is endless - no overhead

selling music cd's and video cd's dvd's
can't make mega profits on 1cent sales
yet you see powesellers doing it
playing the juggling act with the shipping and combine of
multiple orders but that gets old fast.

This is normal, eBay is just like real life high street business, the ones with vision, drives and skills will always win, and the other 95% wannabes will just dream on thinking of big buck, yet havent a clue how its done.
