Not sure what you mean by "experimental influences."
The only traits passed on are those found in mom's egg and dad's sperm. Learned behaviors, and changes caused by environmental influences are not assimilated by the egg or sperm and thus not passed on. Or, as biologists would explain,
" Changes ocurring in the somatoplasm (body cells) are not transmitted to the next generation, only that witch occurs in
the gametes"(sex cells).
Refer to "Jean-Baptise Lamarck", a 19th century biologist
whose theories have been disproven.
