Maybe France has a chance with Sarko, but I will believe it when I see it. It is absolutely INCREDULOUS that even the French ran a complete NITWIT for their presidency. She should be sent to Guantanamo for whining that violence could ensue on the streets if her opponent (Sarkozy) had won the French election.

That PROVES once again that a liberal will resort to virtually ANYTHING imaginable to get his/her own way, always putting his/her sorry ego first. You want THAT in charge of a government, of people's lives?!? Blows my mind.

And before you rancid liberals whine about Bush, don't waste your time. He may not be the smartest bulb in the lamp room, but he is right about terrorism and certainly isn't the kind of egotistical dumb bass that these liberals keep throwing on deck.

Get a serious CLUE, few!!!! Why don't you all go live on a deserted island until some barbarian decides to kill your men, rape your women, and eat your babies??? Because that is EXACTLY what would happen!

It was a reasonable prediction that rioting would occur if Sarkozy won. His policies toward the immigrants when he was interior minister sparked the suburban rioting and car burning last year. Many French citizens thought that Sarkozy took such a hard line toward immigrants as a way to win right wing votes.

Your question "Why... do liberals follow losers?" is nothing more than a flaming way of asking why did lberals lose the election in France. The answer is that more people voted for the divisive right wing candidate.

Yeah got to hate that they have the worlds best health care, that sucks. Oh its socialized like you hate. Have to hate they have little poverty and minimal unemployment, that sucks. Sure they are wimps when it comes to war, I will give you that. Their people are among the happiest and most proud of their country you will ever find. That sucks. They are virtually totally independent for energy..that sucks. They live more free than americans do... that does suck. And every little thing isnt scrutinized and they don't live having people tell them what is right and wrong like we are 6 years old.. that sucks huh.. They show nudity on TV unlike us... that does suck. They don't have a mountain of national debt.. that sucks. They don't throw people in jail for 18 months for being caught with a joint... that sucks. They don't have the "war on drugs" that sucks. What again were you trying to make a point of again.. I forget? Was it how they have it better there than we do here and they aren't caught up having thousands of their soldiers lives paying for greed? Or was it that they don't have terrorist attacks against them? anyways maybe you can post something again so I can read what point you are really trying to make!

The projected image of the educated liberal and the progressive as the enemy is a well-thought out project decades in the making. Media talking heads and corporate-state "news" constantly castigate liberals as being the problem. Any view, and anyone, left of the neo-conservative agenda is demonized as preventing the populace from moving forward. The meaning of life is pre-ordained and liberals are demons in opposition. Egos sharing common cause rally into action. They squash dissent and orchestrating media events by screening out and hint of opposition. This regime's fascist elements know exactly what they are doing. With the takeover of most radio, television and newspapers by sympathetic corporations the co-optation of public opinion is complete. It exceeds Goebbels' success in shepherding his flock to orchestrated conclusions. "We the people" thus know who to blame for being stuck unable to move forward. We do not see our president and his fascist leaning team as being responsible for any problem. The liberal is. The progressive is. The intellectual is. The environmentalist is. The anti-war activist is. The pro-choice people are. The atheist is. The socialist is. The communist is. The terrorist is. Take your pick. Anyone other than the regime is to blame.

It is, however, the axis-of-super-egos presently in power that are the road blocks to fellow workers moving forward. The size of the obstruction is as immense as the size of the administration's huge egos. It is as large as the mass of the messages delivered over many decades by state schools, religious vested interests and their minister pimps, television, corporate controlled media, and the ever-present advertising. We the daily lied-to masses accept the lies as truth. When these messages, the paradigms of capitalism run amok become ingrained and internalized, we become thusly defined associating ourselves with their proponents. Our ego shares a vested interest with the liars egos.

hmmmm

I guess 28% isn't clue enough for some neo-cons....

What ground does this statement have to stand on when Bush has a 28% approval rating? Does that really mean that he holds a majority in peoples minds? Or is this the double speak you have been spoonfed from Fox News?

You are really just another right wing idiot. If Bush was right on terrorism, we would have Bin Laden hanging at the end of a rope and not be in Iraq.

while i certainly understand and agree with your passionate, deserved rant against liberals and leftists in general, and i would never tell you to save your breath, you have to understand that political ideology is exactly the same as religious fervor. in other words, no matter how correct you may be in your thinking, facts, reasoning, and logic and no matter how many statistics, studies, research articles, polls, or news reports you can site, it will not matter one little bit to someone committed to that ideology. it's like trying to convince a christian fundamentalist that jesus christ never existed and his whole belief system is based on a lie...it is exactly the same with liberals, they absolutely will not pay heed to any position if it is not the one they hold and will in fact demonize anyone or anything that is contrary to their worldview.
having said all of this, it IS fun to mess with liberals though...they are SOOO easily riled...lol

all you have to do is tell the truth...drives 'em absolutely wild!!!

I don't follow anybody. I know this must be hard for someone who is taught what to think by the likes of Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter to understand, but it really is true.
