what is it with some women??

when they are on the prowl for a man ,they take time with their looks ,clothes etc,then when they have you,they let themselves slip into boring frumpy clothes,dont make themselves beautiful,cant be bothered to make BEDROOM time etc,no wonder they get dumped,then the cycle starts again!!!!

You obviously haven't met me honey! Let me tell you what I do for my boyfriend of 3 years......

* We go on dates every weekend, have dinner, drink lots and dance together!
* Let's just say that whatever he wants in the bedroom, he gets!
* I give him massages and look after him when he's had a hard day at work
* He can watch the football whenever he likes!
* I always dress up nice for him
* I have a whole drawer full of sexy lingerie, and let me assure you, you won't find anything with holes, anything made of flannel or jersey, anything that used to be white and is now gray, or anything I've had since I was 18.... unlike a lot of men's underwear drawers!!
* On the occassions that we have a quiet day in together and he's wondering around in his boxer shorts and a tshirt, and I'm wondering around in my own 'chill out' clothes and wearing no makeup, we love each other even more. It's called intimacy.

Oh and I'd also like to point out that my boyfriend does all the things above in return, for me.

I think it's a 2 way street and you're going to be walking down it alone if you don't grow up!

Well its just the way things are,same goes for men,they soon stop buying the expensive after shave,resort to jeans and t shirt.My husband still thinks I'm beautifull and I still think he's the best so it doesn't really matter in the long run and we are comfortable and as for bedroom stuff,still the same.What is it they say,put a penny in a jar for every time you make love in the first 6 months of marriage and take a penny out for the following 6 months and the jar will never be empty,we got loads of jars lol.

I totally understand what you are saying, but let me ask you this. After a few months of dating are you telling me that you dress up to watch a home DVD with the girl you're with?
Are you dressed perfectly all of the time?
If you said yes then your obsessive compulsive behavior needs some treatment.
If you guys are going out to dinner then yes she should still look good. But if you two are hanging around the house with no guests then F#^* it!
As for the bedroom comment...ever tried the kitchen, shower etc. The reverse can be said for a man. How come in the beginning of a relationship they take time with a womans body before sticking it to her, but after a while it's ONLY spit and stick!!!!

Tell me why we should dress up when a man......... Chews with his mouth open, adjusts his nuts in front of you, lays around with a beer in stale smelling clothing, leaves the toilet seat up, is rude, aggressive, and puts himself first, never takes you out any more, or tells you that he appreciates you in any way. It is really a killer of self esteem when a girl dosen't get what she needs in a relationship. Normally a a man only wants a slave and sex kitten, between your needs and what has to get done when does a woman have time to take care of herself? Perhaps it is time to get off your A** quit complaining and help out. Get over your I have a penis and there for am superior self and you will see a big difference.

Not all women are like that.
Actually, myself anyway, I'm married and now is the time I think you should pay attention to all that stuff. I was just me when we were dating. Not much make-up or fancy clothes on a non-fancy occassion. But now I take the time to make sure my hair is nice, nails done, clothes really nice, and etc. A man appreciates when a woman takes out her own time to look good for him.

But be nice to those who don't. They just don't get it obviously. Some just get too comfortable and think he won't go anywhere.

yeah maybe some woman do let them selves go, but you guys need to keep us keen by loving us and taking us out for meals,holidays, pub etc. thats when we start to lose intrest in the bedroom and slip into boring frumpy clothing.

I've seen this happen too, women get a man and think they don't have to work at looking good anymore. That's just asking for trouble. I've been married 20+ years but I won't let myself go, not just for him, but for me. I want to look the best I can for him and for me. Some women just won't put forth the effort.

I don't think it's intentional,girls like looking pretty mainly to catch a guy's attention.However,if a lady is determined to keep in her man she does all she can to keep him.Some don't cos they've forgotten that there are other sexy single girls out waiting to get their hands on their men.

well, when they are looking for a man,they think if they fix theirselves up,then they have a better chance getting 1,but after they get you,then they think they dont have to,because they already got you.but thats not the way with my woman,she fixes herself up everyday,even though shes got me.
