I am referring to how the current administration, just like in George Orwell's novel, 1984, is using the threat of terrorism to try and scare us into submission. The Bush administration has adopted an "If you're not with us, you're against us" mentality. It is using the smokescreen of "national security" to justify its constant attempts to rewrite the constitution and take away our civil rights, much like the policies of the government and its Thought Police from George Orwell's novel. If you doubt that there is any validity to what I am saying, just listen to Elisabeth Hasselbeck's reasons for supporting President Bush and his administration. Elisabeth Hasselbeck, and so many other people like her have already become psychologically enslaved by Big Brother Bush and his army of Thought Police Republicans. Am I the only that has noticed this?

too some extent you are correct ,people these days are complacent in their thoughts and too wrapped up in there own wantanism to even notice whats really going on here.our liberties are slowly being eroded and a police state is slowly being fased in .we are being tracked electronicly .everytime we use the ATM or a cell phone or credit cards or the ez pass .or buy products with hidden RFID chips in them ,also when we are on this blessed computer.life needs to be retro as we will be so screwed by our own hand ,it will make soviet russia look like a paradise...
