I Have 1 alone flower horn fish in my tank, 4 to 5 months old, near about 4 to 5 long. I cant see nutual hump growing on , Hump is there but very very small. As well I also want to know wether my fish is male or female. I read that it is possible by seeing at Anal shape, that also I am unable to recognize it properly. Please help me to identify sex of my FH and reson for not growing the Hump.

The male anal shape will be a V where as the female will have a U. Yours is very young and will continue to grow. It can take several years for a cichlid to reach its fully mature physical description. Here is a great site about flowerhorns.

Still a baby, wait another 6-12 months for breeding maturity.

well maybe it's taking it's time to have a baby.its sorta normal.and im guessing its a Female.

They are hybrids,probably sterile,so it just don't matter.
