All they ever draw is a pic of somebody sitting on the stand talking, or sitting behind a table looking bored. How is that supposed to make a court case more exciting? : P

Yes, draw ups are normal and they actually don't mind doing it if they have any hope at succeeding in the world of tattooing. It's free, they will let you put usually like $20 down to hold the drawing when you find what you like and take that down payment off your total at the end. I've done that with two of mine and honestly, I think custom art is so worth the time it takes to find what you really want. Go talk to the artist you want to use and ask to have your ideas put to paper.

when you bring in cameras you also bring in audio. I suspect it's the audio part the courts don't want, although cameras bring lots of speculation, interpretation, drama, etc. and the courts are wishing for a peaceful case.

good point, but they are only allowed to show certain people, the others have to be protected obviously this rule, like many others are outdated, obviously they never hear of pixilation nowadays!
