About 7 to 8 hours sleep is recommended for healthy life.If you have reasonable sleep it is ok.Sleeplessness often is indication of tensions,unable to cope up with life,financial worries etc.Sleeping pills help.But there are people who have never slept in life.

Well if you are not getting any sleep you become tired and when i am sleepy my eyes hurt and they kind of get blurry.

if you mean the black eyes, then it is from the liver and tiredness too, the eyes need to rest to look healthy
