Can i get them over the counter at any pharmacy? or from a Doctor. My husband says he's ready for a child and I'm looking forward to it. He had a child when he was young so he did not enjoy it so he wants to experience the whole process.

No, you cant get them over the counter(not in Canada anyway) but you can go to a doctor and he or she will discuss your situation with you, and find out what pill you might need.
But it sounds to me that you are just now are starting to try to get pregnant. If you and your partner are both healthy you should conceive within the first year of trying(most couples who are not taking any form of birth control should conceive within a year). If still no luck then your doctor will help you find the right specialist.
If you decide to go on the pill to conceive, you should expect at least more then one child.
When you were born you had the amount of egg that you could ever produce, 1/4 of them are gone by the time you hit puberty. Once a month your body will produce hormones to make a mature egg, when you ovulate sometimes within 24 hours you might release another egg and if fertilized to you could end up with fraternal twins. But when your on a pill for conception you will be producing more hormones, and therefore might release more then one egg at a time.

You have to try for 6 months to a year before any reputable doctor will prescribe those pills. Try the natural method because for most, it works.
