Living in China, I'm thinking of importing goods into the UK, and sending them direct to individuals- like a mail-order business. I understand the Import Duty and VAT taxes, but are there any income tax laws, even though I'm not living in the UK??

Or are there income taxes in China which I'd have to pay?

Thanks for your help!

Assuming you turn a profit, you'll have to pay taxes on the income.

If you live in China, you can't "import" goods into the UK, though you CAN export them to the UK. If you're a UK citizen, you may have UK tax to pay on the income.

Duties and VAT will be payable by the recipient of the goods, not you.

If you in China, there will likely be Chinese taxes to pay on any profits.

No they don't. some ought to declare that tax ought to reason different countries to tax products made in and imported from u . s . a .. (What products made in u . s . a .?) besides, there's a miles more effective hassle-free answer: under no circumstances Tax corporations on some thing. position the tax on the products and facilities even as they are bought by the best person. in view that bisinesses function on a earnings margin, that ought to diminish the fee to the customer because the business organization would not be marking up that fee as overhead and including that markup to the acquisition fee. All income of a organization is amazingly own income to someone receiving it besides. Tax that income. situation solved. Oops. authorities would not like that. They couldn't use that sort of a gadget to regulate what they prefer to regulate!
