How do you get rid of the 2 default boot lines on to the screen and 30 sec timer?

I bought a new harddrive because Sony made there here cdrive 14 gig. Some vidio recording software will use cdrive. I partitioned 200 gig 100 each then the preinstall disks didn't work so I copied all the files to the new drives. Then it wouldn't boot so I used a friends xp disk

Right click My computer -> Advanced -> Startup Recovery Tab -> You will see seconds in there, change the values of sec, do it 1 sec.
