my mother is an alcoholic, and has tantrums like a 2 yr old. she pushed me once and i shoved her back against the wall. that's about it. but as far as my aunt that raised me, there's no way--I would still be in traction if I tried.

no but i grabbed her arm when she tried to hit me, and threatened to break it the next time she tried. It was the last time.

I would never, ever, ever try that...however when I was growing up she regularly exercised her right to give me an "attitude adjustment"! lol
