All sorts of low power radio devices work on the same frequency band of 431 MHz. If you look inside your doorbell you might find a set of switches that can be changed to alter the frequency a little. Of course both units ( button and bell) must have the same settings. Does your door bell unlock his car?

key fobs operate on a MHz frequency and its possible that your door bell (which i presume is wireless) runs on the same frequency, you should read your manual and find out if the door bell can change frequency if not you will always know when your neighbour is in or out

It's because many electronic gadgets such as wireless doorbells are poorly designed and are wide open to other radio signals. I have had problems as a radio amateur with people using aerial amplifiers for their tvs, which are wide band and so pick up my transmissions, especially SSB on other frequencies. As my signals are clean it is their problem, but it is a sign of the times I'm afraid.

Not being silly, but get a new door bell, I presume it is a door bell which chimes all over the house and has a wireless aspect to it.....can you change the frequency of it, otherwise no idea.....

Let me guess you have a wireless door bell lol.
you might be able to cahange the frequency of your door bell, check your handbook that come with it or go to the shop where you got it from and ask them.
Good luck

It seems you have a wireless bell, it may be possible to change the signal parameters, check your hand book, else buy a wired bell.
