I tried one method that required me to enter my default getaway but i can't access that because of the authentication and i have no idea what the password is!

There is only one way to find open port is hit and trial method, and it takes lot of time, and also u dont have a password, than forget about torrents. Try P2P software like ARES regular or limewire . i prefer ARES regular. they r best 4 downloading the videos , audios, and softwares stuff. and u dont have 2 find open port 4 it, it will find it by itself. and it also consume ur all available bandwidth 4 download , means download at maximum speed . and it will also be used 2 download torrents. and u can control ur download and upload speed from its control panel. and share ur stuff with others. u will get better perfomance

It all depends on the size of the file you are downloading and on how many programs are working on your computer at the time you are downloading plus the quantity of the files you are downloading!

log into your router, either 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 and open up ports from there
