can we use nickle chloride for reducing reactivity of steel in hot dip galvanizing?

No use. The protectting action will stay as far as the layer of NiCl2 stays unraptured, as soon as there is a rapture in the layer, the whole iron will get rusted.

Zinc is used for galvanizing iron (element).
Steel (alloy) is not galvanized.
Nickel Chloride is used for electroplating.

Nickel is less reactive than iron and should not be used.
