Not really I do. I learn how to bat from the right side. I have a better power from left, and better average from the right. But I've known many left handed hitters and they throw left as well.

It's not rare at all. It's not particularly rare for natural lefties to bat or throw from the opposite site - mostly it comes down to how one was taught, and since most little league coaches are righties, it's quite common for a lefty to have been taught to bat right-handed.

My dad and brother both write left-handed (my dad bats and throws left-handed too.) My brother on the other hand bats and throws right handed, that is pretty unique. My mom was right-handed (writing), she threw right-handed, but batted left, my sister and I write, bats and throws right-handed. I have a nephew who writes and pitches left-handed, but bats right-handed. That's pretty unique too. Two nephews and a niece who writes, bats, and throws the same as my mom.

No but it's rare if you bat righty and throw lefty.

I would not go so far as to call it "rare," but in a society dominated by right-handed people, it's somewhat unusual.

Nothing like that is "rare." You aren't the only one in the world who is a lefty and a switch-hitter.
