If it works in MSN or Skype, that tells us your web cam drivers are working.
Check your Video settings in yahoo IM.
If it doesn't work in MSN or Skype, Please re-post with your web cam Make and Model AND tell us about any error messages.
Then, maybe we can help.

well.when u r chatting with anyone and u wud like the other person to see u through the webcam.....in the IM window juz click on the actions button on the top and then click on "invite to view my webcam"..a request wud be sent to the other person where he/she has to accept it.........thats all to be done..ur frend can see you.....
