Try making a telephone call to the tourist information office, they often also know about shops.
I am sure there will be shop selling these thing there too, but from the Netherlands it is hard to tell you which shops to visit.

You could try searching on Ebay. There are sellers that will ship yarn worldwide, so as long as you have the patience to wait for it, Ebay has the widest selection of yarn anywhere!

Your best bet would be to buy from a reputable dealer, which usually means ordering online...by the way, you will get a much better price this way also.
