It means an organism living off another organism(called the host) in which the first organism is a parasite to the host and causes harm to the host to its advantage. Kinda like a flea living off a dog

Parasitism is when one organism lives off of another to the others detriment. One example is Spanish moss which lives in oak trees in the South. Eventually it kills the host (oak tree).

first of all LOL Donkthecong..it means something or someone lives off of another living organism, to the parasite's benefit and the hosts loss (the parasite would be organism that is doing harm, the host is the one that harm is being done to)
