Because its ok for white players like McGwire and Caminiti expecially Giambi to use steroids but its not ok for black players like Bonds to use em

You're creating a stereotype yourself when you say that. Now: SOME people don't like him 'cause hes black. I think alot of people don't like him cause he can be an a--------e, plain and simple, and they'll use that steroid thing against him because of it. Then again, some people genuinely don't like him 'cause they view him as a cheater. Mark McGuire, (hes white, obviously)wasn't voted into the Hall of Fame by mostly white voters because it was perceived that a lot of his achievements came because he used steroids. Personally? I think Bonds used, as well as about 40-50% of MLB players at one time or another in the recent past. But I also think that Barry Bonds is great because Barry Bonds is great. And I'll tell you something else-I wouldn't invite Gary Sheffield, who is black, and Barry Bonds to the same party, cause Sheff, a former friend of Barrys, thinks Barry is a complete a-------e and wont have anything to do with him anymore.

It is because of Steriods. Sosa left the game, so did the other guys, and Giambi all but admitted he did, and even then he said he was sorry, and his brother said we all know why.
Bonds didn't, Bonds is arrogant, or big-headed, and continues on his own little quest.
The fact the Giants had to tie his hands to get him to do media and fans events in his latest contract is all the proof you need of that.
Not everything is about race, I don't even live in America, i come from NZ, and we had 'people of race' in our national rugby team since 1908or something and the only reason it took that long was because we had NO national team before that.
I have no race issue, I have a Bonds issue. I didn't like Giambi until he basically admitted he took steriods.
Bonds has basically admitted he took steriods, which took a lot of time, and said he didn't know, it was the trainers fault. He either knew or didn't want to know. Over that length of time, I would query with my trainer what he is using and why my body and head are growing remarkably.

I think the media has really made Bonds the poster child for the steroids scandal. You can't blame the players for something that the player's union allowed to become a problem. I don't blame Bonds for taking steroids while lesser players like McGwire and Sosa were getting all the glory. We should blame Donald Fehr. I think it is safe to say that more white people are willing to throw Bonds under the bus than black people are, but saying that white people in general hate Bonds is an unfair generalization. Your question should be why do racist white people hate Bonds. In which case you would have answered your own question.

You think other people are racist???? If you actually payed attention...people in general hate Bonds, not just whites. I'm white and I think he's the best hitter ever. So don't go accusing "the white man" of racism. Race has nothing to do with this and not just white people hate him....
Let me guess, you agree with the study that says white referees in the NBA are racist towards black people becuase they call more fouls against blacks (even though there is no proof of any kind suggesting that).

It's the same as all the black people who believe OJ is innocent. I believe the discrepancy in voting is that a lot of people are following their racial lines. I think a lot of black people give him the benefit of doubt, even though he obviously has used steroids. Also, he isn't exactly the nicest guy in the league. His own teammates (black and white) have come out and criticized his attitude. I think people dislike him for MANY reasons other than race. With that said, I'm sure there are few who only hate him due to race. That's a different topic all together.

White people dont hate Barry Bonds. If the white people you are talking about our your friends you might want to find new ones. If you are talking about the new survey that was released today and was on ESPN then look at it closely and it says there isn't enough people polled to adequately determine this as correct. It says something to that effect when it gets to the "race" questions. White people dont have Barry Bonds. People in general do because of the whole steriod issue and he being a "cheater". Hank Aaron is black, do you think white people hate him to. How about Reggie Jackson, Ozzie Smith, Willie Mays. Bet you dont say yes and none of those guys were ever in a steriod scandal. Steriords are your answer.

Why does every body bring race into it? I just dont like barry bonds. Hes a cocky guy. Doesn't care about the fans. And I do believe he cheated. If you look at him when he was with the pirates, he was a small guy. then a few years later he became big barry. Somethin fishy there. McGuire is the same. he went from small to gigantic. Cheater. So dont say white people hate barry bonds cause hes black. I bet there are plenty of black people that dont like bonds.

Barry Bonds is just a piece of crap. I don't think white people really care about his skin color. Look at Mark McGwire. Everyone hates him now and he's white.

I rooted for Hank Aaron and he is black. Color has nothing to do with it. Barry just has a hateful demeanor and he is an admitted CHEATER. I also hate the WHITE Mark McGwire. You are obviously a BLACK racist so don't even try pushing the RACIST button on us you jerk.
