I DID enjoy the film, as astoundingly moronic, albeit hilariously macabre as it was; but then, sometimes you're in the mood for fillet Mignon...and sometimes you're in the mood for a greasy rat-burger!!!
"Brain Damage" (1988) is DEFINITELY an ol' greasy, grimy, sloppy rat-burger; but then, most of director Frank Henenlotter's films ARE delectably ghoulish & decadent rat-burgers.
...surely, if you've seen "Brain Damage", then you've also seen Henenlotter's 1982 production of "Basket Case" (and it's subsequent sequels); or how about "Frankenhooker" (1990).? If you relished "Brain Damage", you should definately give these others a try!!!
...and remember, "It's Aylmer's tune!!!"
