I am married to a wonderful man, he is deployed, and has been gone for 21 months. he won't return for 6 more months and i am tired of being lonely. I WONT cheat, but what can i do, other than get out more, cause i do that enough, to help ease the feeling. I want to have someone give me a hug when i am down, or a person that will sit with me if i am in need of company at 3 am. my husband is my best friend, and its not that I don't have other friends, they all go to bed early, and i am not a early to bed person. my son is 4yrs old and we both stay up late at night. The computer isn't as comforting as having a person let you fall asleep talking to them.

I am only looking for a hug, not a sexual hug. all my friends are early to bed people with kids and husbands of their own. :(

Difficult one. Problem is that you don't actually KNOW you won't cheat. Your current group of friends does not provide what you want so that means you will have to find a new friend. That's the problem. A married woman with her husband away goes looking for a new friend.. uh...no. Don't unless you are willingto gamble your marriage on it.
You can't have company at 3 am unless you find an internet friend who lives in another time zone / country or you join the State insomnia club. You may not be an early to bed person but one assumes your son gets up early so you must be short on sleep! Of course the computer is not as comforting as a human but you took the responsibility on when you married a serviceman. Anyway here''s a hug but be careful because I think you could easily be led into temptation. You MUST have friends locally you can spend time with. Are you saying none of your friends will hug you or are you looking for a different kind of hug? All your friends go to bed early ? Tell you what - buy a dog. Preferably a weimaraner. They bond to one person are intelligent will defend you and many people think they make better friends than people. Be very careful with your husband's heart because your being loyal to him may be the only thing that keeps him going sometimes.

Get out some more and exercise a lot more. Exercising will increase the endorphin levels in your body making you feel and look better. This will also allow you to be an early to bed person because you'll use all the energy that keeps you up at 3 a.m. on the computer, eating, or doing whatever.
