my dauther is very happy because yesterday we went for audition and this people call her back but after to look for information about this agency I decide not to waste my money so I feel sad because my dauther is very exited about all this situation she wants to be a singer what shoul I do?

Managers/agents will not ask a client to pay for bookings. Anyone who asks for money up front is scamming people. You are very wise not to feed into this, in other words, you are smart enough to keep your money. There are agents in the yellow pages whom you may call. After an agent/manager finds a booking/job for the client, the client will pay a small percentage (from 10% to sometimes 20%) to the agent/manager only after the client is paid for the performance.

Explain that JRP is a scam and they only wanted money. They are NOT a real modeling agency.
If she wants to model she must live in NYC - this is where the American modeling industry is located.
The current requirements for a NYC model is: 5'9" tall and 160 pounds.

You were very smart to run away from JRP. They only want your money. For modeling, another responder had the best response. NY is the place to be in the USA. For singing, get her voice lessons and encourage her to do theatre.

The Powers agencies are franchises, and as such are not really regulated. A good percentage of them are scams.

you are a smart man...most people get sucked in (like me). if she is talented...you dont need to spend a dime. all depends on where you live.
