but i try to always use tact, to be gentle & kind, if i know its a hard truth for them to hear
the other 10% i'm just lying my @$$ off.
& thats 100% truth

Truthfully, not as often as I should. I am a person who values peace and tranquility over the truth sometimes. Because I find that sometimes the truth can make a quiet time alot less quiet.
Also, I am a good liar. Honestly.

I always tell the truth. But if the truth is unpleasant or going to hurt the asker I keep quiet....

I usually tell the truth, but I make sure I express my appreciation at the same time (I try to make it as soft as I can).

good question. have a star! i try to tell the truth all the time, regardless of circumstances. however, if a white lie will spare a persons feelings, then a white lie it is.

Honestly, I will twist the answer in means of not hurting their feelings - for example:
Q: Tell me the truth, do you like my polka dot dress?
I'll be like.. "Erm, yeah. It's nice actually but not really my type of dress. But it's okay.. yeah."
