why are women so attracted to bastard men?

I have been attracted to this guy for a long time now. Nothing has happened between us. Not only did I find out he was a player but he seriously hurt a woman while training her (he's a personal trainer) This guy has been after me since mid last year. How do I snap out of it?

ok so im guessing you know he is bad for you, but you cant help but like him. so ask yourself, do i deserve a guy who isn't going to ever have his full attention on me, or do i deserve a guy who will meet all of my standards? you should never ever settle. i dont care, theres no excuse just dont. if you think your going to change him, you wont, because you cant change a guy. and usually when a guy does change, its with a new girl and not an old one. i hope you understand what im saying, and if your still unsure after everyones opinions you need to check out this book HE'S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU by GREG BEHRENDT. and if hes just so hot, just have fun with him! why not? its not like you can actually expect anything more if hes a player, dont take it seriously.

These answers are very good, heres my two cents. Women go for the dominating crappy guys maybe because a lack of self esteem or drive for better treatment. Maybe subconsciously they like the abuse or being degraded in different ways. There's hundreds of guys out there that are "prince charming" but they walk by without these girls even looking their way. They almost all say they want a guy that will love them the way they should be but from my prior experience they get bored of it and abandon ship just to fall for another guy that will rip their emotions to shreds. Its a cruel world I guess

Run Forest Run, before you become another pelt on his belt. Your question of why women are attracted to bastard men, is because they have a deep seated lower sense of self worth. Were you an enabler with an alchoholic parent? Did you have an adverse and toxic relationship with your Father? With your Mother? Get over yourself and move on.
