Well, Clinton committed alot of crimes other than this sexual misconduct. He warmongered in Bosnia and Kosovo. His Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Explosives, and Firearms agency was guilty of an arson attack on a church in Waco, TX. Clinton advocated violating civil liberties just as much as Bush (for example, he got reelected campaigning on curfews and school uniforms, which violate the civil liberties of "minors," a group that was unable to vote against him).

We should have impeached Clinton and we should have impeach Bush. However, I personally would prefer to let Bush remain in office at the moment since he's a lame duck anyways and impeaching him would interfere with the presidential election. The Congress should just vote down any war funding bills that come up and force Bush to bring the troops home immediately. Unless there is an urgent need to act, the government is best doing nothing until the elections are done.

Let's allow the 2008 election to determine how to rebuild our country after the disaster that Bush and Clinton have caused.

OK - I am a Clinton fan and a devout Liberal but I am getting a little sick of the constant partisan misrepresentation that goes on here by both sides.
Clinton faced impeachment for LYING under oath about his sexual activities - not for what he did. Yes it is true that his sexual activities should have nothing to do with the public or with congress. Yes it is true that he did not commit any sort of crime other than lying. Yes it is true that it was the ultimate in hypocrisy for Gingrich to be asking Clinton about his sex life while he was having an affair and planning to yet again trade in his wife on a younger model. But at the end of the day Clinton did the wrong thing.

If you paid attention, Clinton was impeached for lying to Congress and impeding the investigation behind it (among other things), not for "sexual activities", and despite all the airtime on TV the impeachment hearings got, you obviously missed that. You Dems and Libs just refuse to acknowledge this. He was also disbarred from the state of Arkansas for this.

If it was his sexual misconduct, he would never have been re-elected as Governor of Arkansas, as his habitual sexual liaisons and adultery were well known.

Sorry, but the mantra of "It's all about sex" that you tried peddling during the impeachment was wrong then and is wrong now.

But as long as you bring the point up, Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi, and their gang of hitmen and assassins are re-elected and kept in office (despite the damage they do to our country) because people like you keep voting for them. they offer nothing but hate and venom, so maybe you vote for them because you can relate to them.

Damage. Explain further. Bush is only doing what he knows would need to be done 10 or 20 or 100 years down the line. He is a visionary and you fools are blinded by Liberal propaganda and lies so you can never have original thought in your heads like My Boy Bush. You are ignorant blockheads with no vision. For Shame.

Here's the thing...Clinton was not facing any charges of sexual misconduct with Monica or any of the other women in the Starr report. Clinton was facing impeachment because he lied to cover his own *** about whether or not he used his position as President to suppress evidence in a Federal investigation regarding Bill/Hilly's finances. Do any of you liberal sheep remember "Whitewater"? Now 10 years ago it was all over the web, below is a link to the actual Starr report. If you don't remember Ken Starr was an "independent" investigator appointed by Bill Clinton to discover the truth about whether Bill lied or not. Now as to why I voted to reelect Bush that's simple I think he's the best president since Ronald Reagan period.

Actually his sexual exploits had nothing to do with the reason he was impeached,he was impeached for perjury in front of a grand jury. I know that doesn't fit within the liberal talking points bulletin, but it is the fact. It's also the reason he lost his law license, but of course that's never mentioned, because it would make it obvious that the Congress was right for impeaching him.

Suborning perjury. He was impeached. It was proven that he lied under oath in a court of law before a federal grand jury.

Actually, President Clinton was impeached by the House of Representatives which is the part of the legislature that does the impeaching - However, Clinton wasn't convicted following his trial by the senate. As to why this happened, the answer is politics. - The Republicans wanted it done to reduce his power.

The Democrats could probably impeach Bush if they really wanted to do it, but they don't have the required 2/3 votes to get him convicted in the Senate. - Speaker Pelosi feels the Democrats have better things to do than waste their time on impeachment proceedings.

Wel, if you could all enlighten us with anything he was proven guilty of, go for it.
But I believe that is a question for your Democrats in the Senate. I'm sure they would if they could. But they know any real investigation would only make them look silly.
But I'm sure they would enjoy all of you bringing it up to them, and watching them retract 99% of the crap they sling. It's pretty hard to cover up their voting record...
