I have warm yellow-toned light skin, dark brown eyes, and dark brown hair that's almost black. What colors would complement my coloring?

For people with dark hair and eyes, jewel-tones are the most flattering. These are colors such as emerald, sapphire, and ruby red. Any color that is extremely saturated (rust, chocolate brown, etc.) will also compliment your coloration.

Since you're warm-toned, I'd say go for warm-toned colors, such as cream, butter yellow, autumn colors, etc. Some great neutrals for you to check out would probably be royal/dark blue and forest green. Stay away from powdery-blue and cool pinks.

The most important factor in choosing makeup colors is determining your skin tone. You want colors that match your skin tone. Here's how to determine your skin tone:

Warm skin tone:
1. Look at inner wrist - veins will appear green.
2. Gold jewelry is more flattering than silver jewelry.

Cool skin tone:
1. Look at inner wrist - veins will appear blue.
2. Silver jewelry is more flattering.

I have similar coloring. For daytime, I like to curl my lashes & wear black mascara w/ neutral, taupe eyeshadow.

For evening I like a soft, sheer purple or champagne.

For lips, my favorite colors are:
Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Cherries in the Glow
Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey
