I would say customer service, public relations, front office work, airline cabin crew, basically any work that would require you to deal directly with the clients

I would say that nuns are the nicest. The worst are clerks or people who work with the public...not all, but most anymore. The exception to this group are waitresses who only make minimum and they are nice so you give them a tip.
Oh, and bartenders are nice too.

There are 'genuinely nicest people' in every occupation..not a whole lot and there are no occupations in particular that attrac them.

i think it is the small scale entrepreneurship, or the co-operative businesses. it is the the only occupation i know where the welfare of the larger section is kept in mind.
but if u r asking about nice people, then i think it would be missionaries of charities. genuinely nice people, lots of patience, lots of kindness, compassion, and no malice towards co-workers..........
