I've been calling for his impeachment for sometime with petitions and letters to members of Congress. There are two websites I am currently really involved in which are pretty good.

I can do that!! You know they always ask for any proof every time someone asks questions like this. And when it's provided they still turn a blind eye.

Me. Cities and states can call on Congress to impeach, too, so also write your city council and state legislature. My state is one of those considering a resolution.

Pre-emptive war, torture of prisoners, and failure to protect the civilians and infrastructure of an occupied country are all in violation of international agreements that the U.S. has signed. The Constitution makes such international agreements the highest law of the land. President Bush is guilty of high crimes, therefore impeachable.

The only way to restore our constitution, our conscience, and our reputation is to impeach him. I think those things are worth quite a bit of trouble.

BTW: With the purchasing power of 80% of us going down, the numbers in the middle class plummeting, and the numbers of homeless people skyrocketing, the claim that our economy is doing "well" holds true for a very small number of Americans.

BTW: Most of the country, and most of the world, did NOT think Iraq had WMDs. The only people who did were those who did not ask any tough questions about the "evidence" in support or look for any evidence to the contrary -- like GWB and the Bush League. The leader of the free world is supposed to be more competent than that, and if incompetence is not impeachable, it SHOULD be.

BTW: How many other people lie does not excuse any liar. How many other people commit crimes does not excuse a criminal. I thought conservatives were all for individual responsibility, and not taking excuses?

Thinking Bush is the only president to ever lie is a naive statement. Reagan and Bush Sr. and Clinton all had their share of the spotlight.
