Your question is almost ironic in that one sentence you say "you don't want to scar you for college" and in another you say that she won't sign it if you "not passing her class". Skipping one class won't matter to a college, however an F will matter to a college. Your grades are what matter. You also did not mention what grade you are in. In high school, they let some of the stuff slide in 10th grade, by 11th grade they figure that you know better, and by 12th grade pulling even the smallest stunt can get you in some really hot water.

I don't know what state you live in, but in some states cutting a class for any reason, even to go on a school related field trip is a considered a crime, and the teacher, if she really doesn't want you to go, could call and report it, and get you into all sorts of hot water.

If you are not failing by much in her class, ask her if there is some extra credit that you can do to go on the field trip. Or, try talking to her, tell her how you feel, and that you plan on ditching the class, and she may just give in and let you go, provided you sign a work contract to try harder, turn in certain assignments by a certain date, etc.

Remember in some schools cutting classes can get you detention, Saturday school, and even a trip to juvenile hall. I don't know the rules at your particular school about it, but you need to decide if the punishment is worth being able to go on the field trip. Remember you do the crime you do the time as the old saying goes.

Good luck to you!

Oh sure. Remember doing a nightcrawler first. Then the frog and biology three we did a fetal pig. Those days are lengthy long gone seeing that PETA could most probably blow up any institution that did disection of animals. Makes studying slightly more difficult seeing that seeing a image in Grey's Anatomy does no longer get ready you for doing an post-mortem and it by no means appears similar to the overlay pics in Grey's besides. Good factor I selected a further career than wellbeing/surgical procedure/ and so on seeing that, by the point I used to be performed with my fetal pig, I would no longer inform what intercourse it used to be and feel I flunked that little examination in which you ought to factor out the ingredients.

If you're failing your teacher's class then an F can affect your chances to get into certain colleges. It depends on the class and the rest of your academic standing at your high school. The most important things that colleges look at is your ACT and/ or SAT scores because these scores are used to predict how well you will do at a university. Of course they also look at your GPA and involvment with extracurricular activities, volunteering, etc.
If you are really concerned you should talk with your school counsilor; that's what they are they for and they can prepare you to get into college.

If a signature is required, they'll notice if she didn't sign it. Are you talking about cutting on a single day or dropping her class? If you drop the whole class, it will show up on your transcript for colleges as an incomplete, and you may be asked to explain it. If you're cutting just one day, then that won't show up, but enough cuts and you get dropped from the class and you have other problems too.

cut a class? colleges won't look at that. nobody will look at that stupid sheet of paper all college care about is your grades, extra curriculum activities, and SAT scores. that sheet is just useless don't worry about it.
