I like it and it's a name I have considered if we ever have a boy. It to me is more of a southern name. Plus you could give him a middle name that he could choose to use if he absolutely hates Harlan when he's grown up. I doubt that he will hate it though, I think it's a very masculine powerful name.

Harlan Gregory
Harlan Chase

Aww it is soo sweet. I love it, but I do agree when the baby grows up it will probally hate the name, and you can't exactly shorten it...... But I love the name!!
