Well, as far as can be told by the press, yes he did do coke and go through rehab. I suggest you Google it or use some other search engine and decide for yourself. There are many sources that can't really be trusted, but there are many that can as well. He also did admit to drinking heavily up until his 40's, but he "wasn't an alcoholic" even though he can't think of a day he didn't drink ...

He admitted he used drugs and he is a current practicing alcoholic.

Bush was charged in Texas for Possession of Cocaine, and convicted. Dear old daddy came down and got him on a community service program. Almost all of his records have been impounded ans sealed, but there are still news accounts!

Bush is the 1st criminal ever elected to the White House!

Bush was an alcoholic. When his oil business failed, he turned to liquor. The cocaine addict was Bill Clinton. He and his staff were even snorting in the White House.

One has to wonder: Was it the Big Macs or Cocaine that put Bill in the hospital for a heart attack?

It's unlikely he was an addict, but Bush has refused to answer questions about his drug use. He was a heavy enough drinker to have had at least one DUI. At least according to Wikipedia.

It's going to be impossible to dtermine this because everyone has an agenda.

He has admitted using, but I think his real love was Jack Daniels Black Label. He is an alcoholic who quit drinking when he was 40. Laura threatened to leave, so he chose her over the bottle. Our loss and Laura's gain...or not! So, I guess this awful mess our country is in turns out to be Laura's fault. Too bad she gave him that ultimatum!

I think he's admitted to having done cocaine, but that wouldn't make him an addict.

No, his best friend was Jim Beam until the age of 50. That's when Laura put her foot down and told him that it was either the bottle or her....That's the best decision he's made in his life.

no, it's not true, but there are many out there - just like the guy who said he is a practicing alcoholic - who want to believe it is.

why so many people want to live their lives repeating lies, i'll never know. guess they can't come up with anything better to say.
