you sang a... requiem for a former friendship? And which was the reason for it?

About ten years ago, lack of judgment in choosing lawyers, made a civil divorce go real bad real fast. Despite our respective lawyers advice, we met and discussed things. We both fired our lawyers, got one lawyer together, got divorced, and we've been friends ever since.
It's such a waste of precious energy to hate.

I don't actually sing...but I have thought of a tune that I shared with a friend that I missed having around...would that count.
The last time I did that was a month ago when I realized my former friend had changed to such a degree that she wasn't as carefree and non judgemental as she had been before.
I take everyone for who they are and if they are not doing something that will hurt themselves or someone else, I'm not about to judge them...my friend has started to now.
I want to feel free and open with my friends. I don't want to have to hide any parts of my personality. So, if they harshly judge others how can I be myself and feel safe around them...My former friend is now an old friend, not a close friend.

I´ve been singing one with lyrics and emotions that ive found in different songs throughout these past 10 years, including some ive written myself aswell....and lately its been this song called "How To Save A Life" by The Fray thats feels like a requiem to a former friendship i had....because..the words..."Where did i go wrong? I lost a friend, somewhere along in the bitterness"...always remind me of that really close friend i used have....and the reason for it was, that it was my fault that we drifted apart...and i regret that everyday of my life....

Everyday. No really. I listen to and sing along with the song "Straight Jacket Feeling" all the time. Because thats what that friendship was like - a straight jacket feeling

In my mind...I remember singing with a friend of some years back(we were a duet)...She moved to another state and I moved half way across the country...we kept in touch for awhile...but it's been ....well, a long time

i sing/scream whatever almost everyday w/all my friends like a pack of hungry hounds waiting to get everyones attention...... actually some dude's attention heheheeee
