wat are advantage & disadvantages of contact lens??

i'm in dilemma..should i go get 1?

advantages:
u dont nid to wear glasses!! yay!!

u look prettier.. YAY!!!

disadvantages:
if ur eyes r sensitive (like me) a certain type of contact lenses would hurt ur eyes and make ur eyes smaller after a while

if ur eyes gets dry easily.. u have to constantly put eyedrops into ur eyes (like me.. again -.-) n can b quite annoying sometimes..

u might b blind if u wear it incorrectly.. for eg. ur lenses goes to the back of ur eyeball.. u nid a proff. to get it out.. if there's a mistake.. BOOM u're blind..

cleaning of the contact lenses.. omg that is soooo annoying.. i hate doing that.. sometimes i just cant b bothered and leave it in the solution w/out cleaning.. haha

it might get dirty.. n its bad for ur eyes.. the dirt and stuff


overall.. i LOVE contact lenses.. but i dont wear it that often now cos i cant b bothered to.. haha..

and yes!! get one.. u will LOVE IT!! but try the daily contact lenses first.. in case u dont like it.. then start using the fortnight one.. then slowly go into the monthly one

Yes, but don't get contacts thinking that they are somehow going to replace glasses. Use them once in a while for certain events. As you use them, you can make that determination. Keep the glasses and trade back and forth. Your eyes need to rest and heal now and then. Contacts, despite what you have heard, will dry out. It is not a pleasant feeling. I say get them and keep the glasses as well.

Disadvantage - daily cleaning routine & cost of cleaning products

Advantages - soft contacts are super comfortable & you don't have to worry about wearing earrings or makeup to go w/ glasses

There are new soft contacts that allow your eyes to "breathe" even more & wear them longer.

Contacts don't slip down your nose, get foggy in the rain, etc.

1) Some ppl find that they irritate their eyes.
2) Daily Cleaning.

Advantages

1) No one has to know you are wearing them
2) You can show your face and eyes without hiding behind glasses

Just take perfect care of them.
Take them out EVERY night or it'll mess up your eyesight.
I've been wearin them for two years, and I've lost so much of my eyesight cause I'd wear them for so long w/o leavin them out. And I was legally blind before I started wearin them so...yeah.
But, if you take care of them as you should, they're perfect.

it's cool but you have to take care of your lenses.and some contact lenses also have side effects.
