The old saying goes "Less is More". I have similar skin to what you describe. At that age I had a few scars, but I wore much more make up. I wore it all...in a tasteful way, but all! Now, I cannot go without. I am so used to wearing all of it, I feel naked without it. Also, because I wore so much make up, I had even worse problems with acne. Now, at 34, I only get bad acne 1 week per month, guess which! But it is a doosey! I always say that if I had kept it simple all of these years, I would not get near what I get now. My sister was the same in her skin as I was, but never wore makeup. She looked great then and her skin is great now. She hardly ever gets a blemish. I really hate her! haha. But, go with less, it can only be an advantage now and later. Now, because that is actually the style, later because less build up over time.

Make-up in itself is not bad for your skin. With us acne prone types it is important to find an oil-free make-up remover to take off all the foundation and eye make-up before bed. The worst problem that I can think of might be that your eye lashes could become brittle, and possibly break with water proof mascara, if is not removed before bed. Harsh astringents aggravate the skin, I try and shy away from toner and pre-moistened pads. If it burns, it is your skin telling you it's not happy. Try a mild soap made for the acne prone, and avoid scrubbing. Scrubbing will most certainly lead to wrinkles and scarring.

Use a topical cream after you shower. Then when that dries use a natural moisturizer. And after that dries, then use the makeup, so that way it won't clog your pores as much. They also sell makeup with salicylic acid in it to clear up acne. As for the makeup issue, it is not too much. I know how it feels to want to wear makeup all of the time because of acne. The moisturizer should help keep your face nice and fresh, even though you may have oily skin, it helps maintain an even and balanced skin tone.

it's an ok amount, although it is true that using it too early makes you get wrinkles and have worse skin. =) But especially if you have oily/acne prone skin you should definately stay AWAY from liquid/cream foundation. powder is better, but I suggest something natural without weired chemicals.. i have acne prone skin too, i use bare minerals. perhaps maybe instead of eyeliner, just some eye shadow? its less harsh and you can use fun colors too =)

Just be sure to wash your face well (not harshly) and use sunblock -- even when you'll be inside most of the time -- and drink water more than sugary or caffineated drinks. I'm 45 and started using makeup at 12 -- and still don't have wrinkles. (It's mostly heredity, i think -- same as "acne" -- I never had a problem with that either -- but one of the girls in my Sunday School class wore the same amount of makeup and her folks were spending a fortune on her dermatologist.) (Sorry Mom!)

Im 14, i know loads of girls who wear SO much more makeup than you do..
They wear, concealer, foundation, bronzer, blusher, TONNES of eyeliner, mascara.. the whole caboodle.
THAT will make you wrinkly when you're older.
But i think what you're using now is fine as long as you cleanse, tone and moisturize every night..
I used to wear loads of makeup cause im pale and i hate it..
But now i just use like tinted face moisturizer so all i put on in the morning for school is a bit of concealer and mascara.
And also try to leave your skin to 'breathe' for a day or two every so often, no makeup whatsoever.. it will help :)
Its hard but i do it. I look awful with no makeup on haha.
Hope it helps.

I'm 14, and I have oily skin as well. I would use make-up which has a type of acne medication in it already, like neutrogena. Or else, you can set up an appointement with the dermatologist who will analyze your skin and tell you if you need a prescription or not. Everybody's skin needs different medications/solutions.

you absolutely must put a mosistizer between your skin and your compact concealer. Ditch the mascara for everyday use. use it just for going out. Keep the eyeliner light.

ok you can get wrinkles if you wear too much foundation/concealer, etc. but i'm sure it is fine to wear eyeliner, mascara, lipgloss and a bit of blush. no problem

go to a dermatologist and get prescribed accutane. it will get rid of your oily skin, and allow you to use makeup without breaking out. And yes, make up does lead to wrinkles when you're older.
