y is child ticket
x+y = 140 (number of tickets)
20x + 10y = 1600 (cost of tickets)
since x+y = 140, then y=140-x
insert this into the other equation
20x + 10(140-x) = 1600
20x + 1400 - 10x = 1600
10x = 200
x = 20
x+y= 140
20+y=140
y=120
20 adult tickets
120 kids tickets
