Awww i think alot of kids feel this way. Homework is boring when you are unmotivated...try to reward yourself and feel proud everytime you do well...I have a book i bought in grammar school...during the mid 90's, it's called "how to do homework without throwing up" by Trevor Romain. It's a very good book it is written and illustrated for young children but i even read it now when i am feeling blue about school work and i am in COLLEGE! lol so try to check it out...maybe it helps you too!

It's highly likely because you are instructed to do something you don't want to do, that way it's less fun.
I am sure that that if there were a class on watching paint dry people would choose that and eventually go back to doing normal school work.

Because your teacher isn't giving you engaging activities that stimulate your brain. Your probably not being challenged enough. There are a very few great teachers out there that actually make learning fun. Yes, you can be a good teacher. But on a few can be brilliant.

The answer is simply you feel that homework gets you bored very easily (for me is math that get me bored) I can't even sit there for 30 mins ! but try this..Do some. Rest (resting is not like 2 hours +!). Then grab your favourite drink , sit down again (make sure you keep yourself "fresh" and keep your spirit high) and do the rest!
Edit:Remember to reward yourself like going out for awhile or buy yourself candies!

Perhaps because you can see what you're being trained to do; to become a human appliance and grind away work all day.

you are just trying to avoid studies. Hence you put emphasize on things which don't need to be bothered.
