Yes, you have it! When you are using MS Word, you can create your writing project in any format you like. When you are finished, spell check, and then highlight all your text. Go to "Format and paragraph" then choose double space. All your lines will be spaced as you suggested. Teachers ask for this so that they can mark between the lines, and you have an exact idea what they are marking. Hope this helps - I am a teacher.

In microsoft word : Format, Paragraph, Then change the box that says line spacing from single to double. This will make it so there is an extra space in between each line.

It means to hit the space bar twice after each line you type. This gives you double spacing between each line.

In your word processor there should be a setting called line spacing. It makes your text automatically look like what you typed above. That is what it means.

once you're done typing your document....press Ctrl-A to select everything. Then press Ctrl-2 to double space it.
