Pokemon gold remake?

are they going to remake gold and siver or crystal versions?
i know that Zel made a remake of it but what i mean is an official one

no, they aren't going to remake it

think about it this way - every single pokemon from those games is obtainable already in the current games - so what could gold (johto) bring new to the stage?

it is a shame, as that era was my favorite of the pokemon games, but nothing will be gained by bringing johto back
