It's untidy.
If the wardrobe is cedar-lined, it keeps the cedar lining from being effective (letting fumes out and potentially allowing moths in).
Leaving the door open is a public display. It also allows seldom-worn clothes to become dusty if not individually covered. Are you that proud of the display? Do you have so much extra floor space that you can spare the room required for open doors?
If the door smacked someone who was in your room in the dark who should not have been there, good for you!

Well, it should be closed, but in the grand scheme of things, this is too far down on the list to really consider it "wrong".
Now, if you happen to have someone in the house who is absolutely anal about such things, then it is wrong to them, and they will let you know about it.
If you have a toddler, then you should be very careful about leaving anything open that does not need their attention.

Probably not to you...but, just imagine that u went to somebody's house n' saw that their wadrobe door was completely ajar n' everything was visible as though kept at d window of a showroom....
Now, imagine a situation where d host takes care to keep d wadrobe shut...
Which would u prefer?Defenitely d latter cuz' it gives a dimanesion to d room n' also expresses about good tastes...
Clothes look good on u'r body...not inside d wadrobe...that's just a store house! n' making it a habit to keep it shut helps u keep it shut even in front of guests!
Hope that helped!

As wrong as when I left the drawer to my socks open.
(What kind of question was that? Just trying to rack up the points?)
