Can i do M.A in English and B.ED from IGNOU or other open university?

Why not?

You can do MA from IGNOU. You can also try at "Yashawantro Chavaon Open University" at Nasik for the same.

You can even try for "distance learning", available with various universities in India. ( if you fullfill the eligibility criteria)

But I can't understand logic behind doing B.Ed. through open university. Normally, to become teacher, you need to attend the college/course for the entire duration. Many institutes do not pay any attention to the candidates doing B.Ed. through open university as well as distance learning. Please check the realities.

Yes u can do M.A in English and B.ED from IGNOU.
But the syllabus & passing system is little bit tough as comapred to other open universities.
u better to do it from Bharathidasan Open University, Chennai.
U can pass easily.
