Our CPU usage keeps spiking to 100% when we aren't running any programs. Also, when I went into add/remove programs, I found something called Outer-info, never heard of it.The file size was over 300 mg.so I deleted it. I also went in and diabled system restore, rebooted and ran virus scan again and it's not finding anything. I don't know what else to do?We can only use the computer on safe mode becuase on normal mode it's too slow and pops up that error system 32 message.Plz Help!!!!

Part of my problem is that I can't go online unless I'm in safe mode, and I can't download anything to remove it because I'm in safe mode...... Very frustrating. This is why I peronally don't download crap off the internet. How do I go about reformatting my computer? Will I lose everything on it? Pics, letters, programs, etc????

Well Norton may have removed the Vundo trojan, but apparently has not removed all of the malware that Vundo downloaded to your computer.

First I would make sure that Vundo has really been removed by running VundoFix.

VundoFix.exe has become the standard removal tool for Vundo (aka Virtumonde).

VundoFix.exe is a free removal tool developed to remove Virtumonde infections. To use the tool follow the instrctions on the web-site:
http://www.atribune.org/content/view/24/2/

Then I would run both of these on-line scans and let them remove what they find. Both are free and excellent at detecting and removing malware free of charge. There is no need to un-install your current protections before using these.

1. Scan for virus, worms, dialers, etc. and remove (free online scan, no download) with BitDefender's Online Scanner
http://www.bitdefender.com/site/home/

2. Scan for trojans, adware, and spyware and remove (free online scan, no download) with Ewido Online Scanner ( now known as AVG Anti-Spyware). This is NOT the same as AVG Anti-Virus.
http://www.ewido.net/en/

These scans will take quite a bit of time. The time is necessary to clean-up a badly infected computer.

Good luck.

maybe, try reinstalling windows to make sure.
Then recommend you to use the firefox browser. It can prevent trash web, trojan viruses etc. It's safer than IE browser. The newest official edition of firefox can be downloaded from http://www.mollzia.com/firefox-download.htm

well i think you should just get rid of the file. and no matter what do not open it!! the Information that you have gathered sounds like its correct. it may be more then just a key logger it could also open a back door.
