Remember that the variables cancel out.
8x - 11 = 2x + 1 is really
6x - 11 = 1 because I was able to cancel out 2x
To solve this then becomes easy. Reverse the equation.
1+ 11 = 6x
so 6x = 12
12 / 6 = 2
so x = 2

That is the pattern you use. It takes about 30 seconds per problem like that so you have about 1.5 minutes left to finish your homework.

A) 8x-11=2x+1 original equation
8x-2x= 11+1 put all like terms together on one side x with x and number with number
6x= 12 add like terms
x=2 divide each side by 6 to isolate the x, the answer is 2

B) x/3=8 original equation
x=24 multiply each side by 3 to cancel the denominator, x=24

C) 2/5x-6=12 original equation
2/5x= 18 add 6 to each side
2=90x multiply each side by 5x to cancel denominator
2/90=x divide each side by 90
1/45 =x simplify answer

D) 6(2-x) =4x orignal equation
12-6x=4x distribute the 6
12=10x add 6x to each side
12/10=x divide each side by 10
6/5=x simplify answer

to remedy those equations you need to do 2 issues: a) Get the X's on one edge of the equation all by potential of itself b) Get the x right down to a ingredient the place that is ingredient (what that is expanded by potential of is a million) And to try this, purely save this in innovations... regardless of you do to a minimum of one side you need to do to the different to maintain the fact real (equivalent). 8x - 11 = 2x+a million 8x - 11 + 11= 2x + a million + 11 upload 11 to the two facets to get it from the left side to the main spectacular side 8x = 2x+12 8x-2x = 2x +12 - 2x Subtract 2x from the two facets to get it from the main spectacular to the left 6x = 12 6x/6 = 12/6 Divide the two facets by potential of 6 to get the x by potential of itself x = 2
