Where does the Constitution ever mention the tired, hungry, or poor? It does not. You are thinking of the Statute of Liberty, not the Constitution on the United States my friend. Next time you want to accuse someone of not knowing what is and is not in the Constitution, you should probably look at it yourself.

The Constitution doesn't say that. It's the Statue of Liberty which has no rule of law over this country.
Maybe if illegals would make more effort to learn about the country and our history people wouldn't be so down on them.

You make me sick. First of all, you don't know your Constitution. "Give me your tired, your poor..." was a poem written by Emma Lazarus. It's on the Statue of Liberty.

You're partially correct. Apparently, a huge majority of the GOP does not recognize The Constitution anymore. Some of them do - the good ones. But, a lot of them are just plain old douche bags.

I wouldn't wrap them all as terrible, however I think it's mainly Bushies, the neo-cons, that I have forgotten what the Constitution is, what it means, and what it stands for.
