Call the ASPCA or SPCA, depending on what it is called in L.A. They usually have an Animal Hospital.

I am all the way across the country so things may be different here...but if you dont have alot of money, they have a program where you only have to pay a percentage of the bill if you qualify. Sorry i dont know the name, but im sure you could find it on the internet. Hope this is useful.
