Well .. you can tell it in many terms..

Every leader is a boss. But every boss is not the leader.

Boss = always comes chosen from higher authority ..

Leader Comes always and choosen by the entire And most low class - mid class people

Boss = to be always there must be liked by higher levels.. some hateredness and misuse from lower levels..

Leader = Most high levels hate him ( even if they didn't declare that )

How to know a leader ??

1. Sometimes leadership is merely letting people do their jobs.
2. Leaders cannot be aloof; they must constantly show that they care.
3. leader keeps the entire team tuned to the fundamentals of success.
4. Leadership is getting your employees to compromise for the good of all.
5. Leaders must learn to sacrifice for others.

At last i have to say one thing ..

The boss is respected and obeyed because of his/her seniority. A leader is respected and looked up to as a example not only because of seniority but mainly because of the qualities of character and ability.

Have a great day ..
Good luck ..
.

A good leader leads by example.
A good boss delegates effectively.
Good leaders beat out good bosses by my definition.
But there are poor leaders and bosses we don't even want to think about.

The "boss" is usually power hungry. They are generally set on telling people what to do and "bossing" them around. The "boss" is generally not someone you look up to ad they are sometimes simmilar to a bully. A "leader" on the other hand is someone people look up to. They are generally a strong person and in a way a hero.
