It's one of those things that becomes popular for a while then phases out again, but for some of us... sewing is in our blood.
I had the pleasure of growing up in a sewing family, and I've been lucky enough to learn some of the art.
I've also gotten into embellishing, which is kind of along the same lines. I sew/embellish everything - clothes, home decor, gifts, etc...
Yes, I love sewing! Glad to see so many others do too.

I did, but then I had to take a class. I used to take lessons, which were superfun, but this class was so picky picky picky, and we never made anything, just practiced stitches.
Pretty much made me feel bad about my sewing ability. :-(
A few months from now, once I have gotten this class blocked from my mind, I will probably re-start!
P.S. My favorite thing to make is purses out of old pairs of jeans--I sew scout patches on them!

I am in the process of cutting all my 2 year old sons shirts that he doesn't wear anymore to make a quilt for his big boy room. I also do hemming and make my curtains and such. Nothing really exciting.

no i dont, i tried when i was younger and didnt have time or the patience. i have a sewing kit

yes i like to sew..pillows and things like that...not clothes..

I did but haven't done it forever....just told my dh today that I wanted to start up again. Wish I could take some classes to brush up though........

i do to, i used to make clothes for my little brother and then he used to wear them non stop till they were a gonners i loved doing it for him
