I know what you mean I like the nice guys though because I know they'll treat me with respect but I also look for there values. To me a bad boy really doesn't have any values so there's no point in going for a bad boy.

it is true but I think we misunderstand why when you say "nice guy" and "bad boy"
women get bored over 'nice guys' quickly because"nice guys" do whatever a woman wants, women dominate them and wrap them around their finger ... no more challenge, and the woman is running the show and making all the decisions
and believe it or not, a woman does not want to run the show or make all the decisions
she wants to be the mastermind behind the guy running the show and making the decision
she wants an equal or a counterpart ... that can stand up to her when she needs it
this is where 'bad boys' come in ... we dont put up with your crap and you love us for that (maybe not right away, but at some point:) ... and the misconception is to equate immature jerks with 'bad boys' ... a 'bad boy' can still treat a woman with respect, and not cave when she bats her eyelashes ... in my mind a 'bad boy' is someone who knows what he wants and is not afraid to get it ... and thats what is so attractive to women

maturity does play a big part
most men are a hybrid of the 2 - 'nice guy - bad boy'
I think the truth is women like an honest guy, thats not afraid to be a bad-@ss when needed

Only the dumb, immature ones do. But I don't think it is as much about bad boys and nice guys as you think it is. Here I will explain for ya.
The saying goes that "nice goes finish last". But it's not really a nice guy per se, but guys who don't get girls or keep their interest are "too nice". What this means is that they are so courteous or timid, or nice that they lack any zest or personality and can be quite boring. Therefore, women will lose interest in this type of guy. Another reason is, because they get too infatuated with the lady that they basically kiss her ***, and are pretty much a doormat. Ladies don't want a guy that falls all over them and is a pushover. They want a guy that is kind, but stand up for himself as well and doesn't let her hotness turn him into a needy, smothering, mat to walk all over. So basically, there;s nothing wrong with being a nice guy, it's just being too nice that it causes these things that make women lose interest in a guy. I think you can be with a lot of women if you are a nice guy, but have respect for yourself, and have a personality.
I am a nice guy, but I have been with girls and have not lost their interest because I have an "edge" to me as well,and even though I am nice, I don't let anyone walk all over me. When I mean edge, I mean that many people find me funny, because of my original sense of humor, and the wiseass in me, that is in a playful manner, but not mean, which is a big difference. Nice guy with an "edge". that't all.

You know something at times it turns out you meet the nice boy, ever so slowly as you're getting hooked his bad boy tendencies come out. I have seen it never been in a situation like it to an extent I ever got in trouble. So by the time the poor girl is hooked the bad boy tendencies really start up. It doesn't always happen that way. Now to answer your basic question - it could be that it gets the andrenaline pumping; I mean I've dated a few bad boys in my time and it always got mine reved up. Then there is the idea of thinking with my loving care I can change him and or when he falls in love with me he will automatically change. I never fell into this category; however, I have seen those who have - not a pretty picture.

I think that it depands on women and on age of this women. And of course if this women has some bad expirience in her life. If she met a bad guy in her past she would try to find somebody good for life and for the future. I think that women are looking for bed men when the are young and wnat to be cool..but with time that understand that for the family they need somebody good, well more or less, to build a good future. I had this problem in the past, when was young. You like men which are really bad, but i think its because i wanted to be more cool and, the most important, i wasnt sure of myself and wanted to hide behind this men...was trying to be somebody else...

That's a supposition, unsupported by fact. Almost an urban myth. We do like nice guys--they're usually too shy to speak up so naturally the louder "bad boy" gets the attention.

Ture: Insecure, petty, immature, shallow women want bad boys. When they grow up, and get a brain however they realize that a nice guy is the best husband and father will make.

this is a perception that most guys have. This stereotype is not true.Some women are on the prowl for nice decent men.We on the flipside hav.e this notion that all the nice guyz are taken.
If you are a nice guy please do not give up in searching for a nice decent woman.As a single 27 year old i have this notion that a nice decent man is out there.

Immature girls might like bad boys/rebels.
Not me ...I prefer a gentleman who knows how to treat a lady with respect and admiration.
One with integrity, honesty, and who is really into me.
Not a wimp though, one who can balance nice guy and Alpha male. One who takes care of business in everyday life, but who can be wild and passionate behind closed doors.

I hate the media.
That's a load of ****. If you're going to be with someone forever, or even just spend your time with them;
For men; women don't need to be thin, stupid and wear excessive make-up.
For women; men don't need to hide their feelings and act tough 24/7.
It's not real, and it makes the other person feel bad about themselves.
